In recent years, textile industry printing systems have been changing from conventional analog printing to plateless digital printing to meet market demand for high-mix-low-volume print production capabilities and quick delivery. Accordingly, production settings are changing from remote areas to city areas closer to consumers. Since 1998, Mimaki has been known for its innovative development and manufacture of textile inkjet printers. Currently, Mimaki textile printers are widely used in the fashion/sports apparel and the interior and fabric signage industries.
