Acrylic stand

Mimaki Engineering develops and sells printers that enable printing on acrylic.
Print on and cut a sheet of acrylic plate. Creative sheet cutting allows you to fabricate your original self-assembled picture stand perfect for a birthday gift or wedding decor piece.

Use as a wedding souvenir or welcome space decoration.

Instructions

Data creation

STEP 1

    1. Create pieces of color data.
    2. Create the white-version data according to the color data.
    3. Create the cut data.
STEP 2

STEP 2

    1. With the protective film on, cut an acrylic sheet with a laser cutter.
STEP 3

 STEP 3    

    1. Peel off the protective film on the back.
    2. Flip the acrylic sheet and set it to the printer.
    3. Print the inverted data in the order of color data and white data.
Finish!

STEP 4

    1. Assemble the parts.
    2. Finish!
It is also recommended to print a pattern on the outside of the parts and give the unassembled stand as a gift.
